After all, they’ll be pushing out an entire little person at the end of that third trimester—if that isn’t resilience, we don’t know what is! Nevertheless, there are still certain things you should not do to an expectant mother—tasing being very high on that list. But that did not stop Seattle police from tasing a pregnant woman three times after she was pulled over for speeding, according to the New York Times.

Jerad Wheeler, an officer with the DeKalb County Police Department in Georgia, is guilty of kicking a woman in the stomach— a woman who was nine months pregnant, according to Altanta’s WSB-TV news. Read full story

Third-smallest baby born

Melinda Star Guido is surrounded by news cameras as she is discharged on Jan. 20 from Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center five months after her birth in Los Angeles. Guido was born at 24 weeks weighing 9.5 ounces, making her the third-smallest baby born in the world. At the time of her discharge, she weighed a mere 4.5 pounds. Doctors will continue to monitor her for the next six years.
