How could I allow this to happen? How can any woman allow herself to get pregnant? It wasn’t only a nagging thought in my brain. That was the accusatory tone I was met with over and over as we announced our earlier-than-expected pregnancy. Their eyes and their mouths and their body language shouted: How could you be so stupid?

Two of our awesome staffers, Amanda Bardwell (senior art director) and Devin Wilber (editorial assistant), are pregnant — and they’re outfit twins today!

Former Girl Next Door Holly Madison is pregnant! If you’ve watched her on her shows through the years, you know how much she’s always wanted to be a mom. She’s expecting with her boyfriend of nine months, party promoter and Electric Daisy Carnival founder Pasquale Rotella. Congrats to the two of them!

By now you’re probably familiar with the recommendation that pregnant women get their flu shots—but a recent study in the American Journal of Public Health found that in addition to offering protection from the flu, the vaccine may also lower the risk of premature births, underweight babies and stillbirths, reports the Vancouver Sun.

Pregnant ladies aren’t entirely as delicate as common opinion would have us believe. After all, they’ll be pushing out an entire little person at the end of that third trimester—if that isn’t resilience, we don’t know what is! Nevertheless, there are still certain things you should not do to an expectant mother—tasing being very high on that list. But that did not stop Seattle police from tasing a pregnant woman three times after she was pulled over for speeding, according to the New York Times.
